Plants vs Zombies is an amusing tower defense game in which you must use different plants to keep zombies away from your house. The game novelty is represented by the cute characters and the colorful setting.
Within the zombies mob you will be able to distinguish 26 types of monsters, each with its own skills. You start with a single plant and then, by capturing the sun, you get to extend your army. After each completed level you get a new plant that will have a useful skill.
Plants vs Zombies comes with 49 types of plants, such as cherry bombs, wall-nuts or peashooters. Each of them is able to fight the zombies and you get to combine them however you like to achieve maximum efficiency.
In addition, certain natural obstacles, such as fog, swimming pools or the setting sun make the entire experience more interesting. You can choose to play the game in Adventure, Survival or the stress-free Zen Garden modes. From the main window you can also go straight to the mini-games or puzzle area.
Furthermore, within the Zombatar panel, you can easily create your own zombie: set up the color skin, the hair pattern, the facial hair design, add eyewear, clothes, accessories, hats, an avatar background and more.
The game provides multiple options for every customization category and you can have fun mixing and matching. Zombatar allows you to preview your zombie both in portrait and avatar modes and when you are finished, an image file with the results will be placed on your desktop.
Plants vs Zombies is a simple game that combines the concepts of a classic game type with the novelty of cute and amusing new characters. The Zombatar is also great if you want to make your own zombie avatar.
